With the development of economic, cultural and academic activity and the growth of civil society which Tunisia has witnessed during the last 15 years or so, the emergence of many specialized press publications.

Created by private associations (non-governmental associations, employers' union, trade unions and professional associations) or academic and public institutions, the Tunisian specialized press covers all walks of life: culture, literature and arts, sciences and technologies, health and research, women, youth and children, business and services, justice and human rights, etc.

Here is a partial list of specialized media in Tunisia.

Culture, literature and arts:

  • «Al-Masar», a literary magazine published by the Tunisian Writers' Union.
  • «La vie culturelle», a culture and arts magazine published by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage Preservation.
  • «Rihaab Al-Maarifa», a private literary magazine

  • « Planet magazine » , a magazine published by the private Internet service provider "Planet".
  • « Santé et Sécurité Professionnelle », a magazine published by the health and vocational safety Institute.
  • « La Sécurité Routière », a magazine published by the Tunisian association for road safety.
