Press and Information Sciences Institute (IPSI)
IPSI is the principal Tunisian institution of training in journalism. It is also one of the oldest academic institutions in the country. Established in December 1967, the Institute provides training for its students in journalism as well as in other communication sectors.
The Institute offers three "cycles of education" crowned by a Master's degree in journalism and a specialized Master's degree in ICTs. Student in journalism, chooses one of the following areas of specialization : print media, , radio, television, e-journalism or sports journalism.
The Institute contributes to research in the fields of information and communication sciences. It publishes a scientific journal and organizes international symposiums. It also cooperates with a number of European, American and Arab universities. Several research programs have been carried out by IPSI teachers, in collaboration with international institutions and foreign colleagues.
